First light over Big Bluff. That’s my buddy Andrew, about to have his eyes melt from the explosion of fall color at sunrise. It was colder than a possum’s nipple that morning, but the shots we got were worth it. Stay tuned.

Today’s restoration features this photo of my granddad and grandmom at their wedding - August 14, 1952. He was 22, she was 21.

A few shots from Aspen's first Halloween - scroll to the end for a little trick or treat. Indy dressed up as a Crazy Cat Lady that year, Aspen was one of her cats, and Cooper was a bank robber. From my family to yours, have a safe and happy Halloween!

Tis the season. Pulled this one from the vault today. This was Aspen’s first autumn at the cabin, circa 2017.

Today’s photo #restoration features this senior #portrait of my great uncle Giddings Castleman Brown, Texas Military Institute, Class of 1967. His dad and granddad were alumni there, too - his granddad went there with General Douglas MacArthur. Gids would be known to me as Uncle Skipper - an adventurous, wandering spirit with a poet’s curiosity - a role model for me to this day.

Fall colors have been popping in Pueblo. Perfect timing for our annual family self-portraits. We popped in at Mineral Palace Park on Sunday evening and grabbed a few shots at sunset - here’s the highlights.
