Chels grabbed this behind-the-scenes shot of me setting up a long exposure during blue hour at Badlands NP in South Dakota. What a beautiful landscape of contrast in front of my lens. This was one of those rare trips where Chels and I were sans kids - and though we enjoyed the quiet, we regretted not having them with us to share the experiences. Gives us another reason to go back!

Take a trip back in time to Chelsea's first birthday on March 3, 1987. I recently #restored this Super 8mm film from Papa Tollie Sutterfield in Northwest Arkansas.

Lately I've been chasing after our oldest girl as she's been competing in some big swim meets. As she gets better, the more we hit the road - which is perfect because we all love to travel, and watch Indy kick donkey. Here she is working hard in the 200 butterfly.

For this week's episode of Waterfall Wednesday I give you Bridalveil Falls in Yosemite National Park. The falls were flowing great that day. Lots of tourists. But it was the first time the kids had been to Yosemite, so it was worth wading thru the human traffic to see all the natural beauty in the valley.
