Today’s photo #restoration features this senior #portrait of my great uncle Giddings Castleman Brown, Texas Military Institute, Class of 1967. His dad and granddad were alumni there, too - his granddad went there with General Douglas MacArthur. Gids would be known to me as Uncle Skipper - an adventurous, wandering spirit with a poet’s curiosity - a role model for me to this day.
